A solution with a pH = 13 has approximately how many moles of OH– ions per liter?
How many molecules of H+ would this same solution have per liter?
A different solution with an H+ concentration of 1.0 × 10–4 would have a pH =

Answers

Using the definitions of pH and pOH, you arrive to the following: 0.1 moles of OH ions are present per litre in a solution with a pH of 13. 11013 moles of H+ ions are present per litre in a solution with a pH of 13.

A alternative solution would have a pH of 4 and an H+ concentration of 1.0 104.The hydrogen potential is pH. It is an indicator of acidity or alkalinity that shows how many hydrogen ions are present in a substance or solution.The negative base 10 logarithm of the activity of hydrogen ions, or the quantity of hydrogen ions present, is the mathematical formula for pH:

pH = log (H+)

Similar to pOH, which expresses the concentration of hydroxyl ions in a solution as the logarithm of the concentration of OH ions with the sign reversed:

pOH=-log [OH]

It is possible to establish the following connection between pH and pOH:

pOH + pH= 14

In this instance, you are aware that the pH of the solution is 13. The pOH can be determined as follows:

pOH + 13= 14

pOH= 14 -13

pOH= 1

Next, the concentration of OH can be determined as follows:

1= - log [OH⁻]

[OH⁻]= 10⁻¹

[OH⁻]= 0.1

Lastly, 0.1 moles of OH ions are present per litre in a solution with a pH of 13.On the other hand, keeping in mind that pH = 13, the H+ concentration can be determined as follows:

13= - log [H⁺]

[H⁺]= 10⁻¹³

[H⁺]= 1×10⁻¹³

Finally, you have a different solution with 1.0 104 g/ml H+. Changing the pH definition to:

pH= - log (1.0×10⁻⁴)

Solving:

pH= 4

A alternative solution would then have a pH of 4 and an H+ concentration of 1.0 104.

In conclusion, you get that:

0.1 moles of OH ions are present per litre in a solution with a pH of 13.

11013 moles of H+ ions are present per litre in a solution with a pH of 13.

I don't really know how to answer this properly so ill just say this:

Currently, I am writing a book and when you start I think you should just do whatever. Not everyone starts off great. Just write down all your ideas and don't think about them just write. The more you think the more you question yourself and then it will just get harder before you even started. After you think you ran out of ideas, then read it over and your brain will do the rest from there.

Whatever idea you want your story or book to be about I think you should make sure you read enough books or material about the topic so you can kind of have an idea of what's going on.

Having a good support system helps too. I have a couple of friends who read my stories or books and they tell me things I should add or things that don't look right and it always makes everything sound better.

I looked your question up one day because I was also curious and this is what it says:

Step 1: Set Proper Expectations for Yourself.

Step 2: Schedule a Time and Place to Write Each Day

Step 3: Set a Specific Writing Goal

Step 4: Create Your Deadlines

Step 5: Announce Your Book

Step 6: Give Yourself a New Identity: Author

I'll be honest I still haven't used one of those steps but people still say that my stories are pretty good. So mostly just do you and:

When you write make sure your ready to be writing for a little while Have a support system (Friends or family, all that good stuff)Research is always a good ideaDon't think too hard just let your brain go and the ideas will come pouring in

Hope this helps you even if it only a little bit :)

Rules of the Game" by Amy Tan

Answers

Flashback: She uses flashbacks to show the progressions of her characters’ pasts from childhood throughout adulthood. This adds depth to the story and allows readers to gain insight into the character’s motivations and development.

Flash-Forward: She uses flash-forwards to reveal the future of her characters and the path of their story. This technique allows the author to show what is to come and allows readers to remain invested in the story.

In Medias Res: She uses the in medias res technique to drop readers directly into the middle of the action without any background information. This technique creates suspense and intrigue and encourages readers to pay close attention to the events that follow.

Dream Sequence: She incorporates dream sequences to show her characters’ inner thoughts and feelings. This technique allows readers to gain insight into the characters’ subconscious and understand how they feel about certain topics.

Fast Pace: She uses a fast pace to keep readers engaged and to move the story along at a brisk pace. This technique allows readers to stay in the moment and be glued to the page.

Slow Pace: She occasionally uses a slower pace to slow down the action and emphasize certain moments or characters’ histories. This technique gives readers the opportunity to take a step back and process the events that are going on around them.
